The loan service may be performed during all the hours the Library is open, both morning and afternoon sessions. Currently this service is performed manually for afternoon students. For morning students it has achieved one of the last school year objectives, computerized loans through Abies software, which is faster and can produce statistics which reflect information as most popular books, numbers of loans, etc.

For proper operation, there must meet the following rules:

•  The loan period shall be seven days renewable for another seven. 

•  You can renew the loan once. 

•  Each loan provides only one volume, with the exception of 2nd Baccalaureate students, who attend the optional subject Universal Literature, may take out two books a week.

•  All books borrowed must be labeled with their spine label and barcode.

•  On vacation can make loans until its end.

•  In high-demand books can be a waiting list and not allow renewal.

•  The collective loan will be make to a group (with a responsible person) or to a teacher for classroom use.

•  It is necessary to make pupils aware of the need for good physical use of the book. When lost or seriously impair a book, you must make sure that the reader will replace the copy, providing the necessary data to find it.

•  If a reader is delayed in the return of a loan, he will be punished with the inability to use this service for as long as is deemed appropriate. These readers punished, especially recidivists, will be introduced in a file open for that purpose.

•  With regard to claims, a student will be located with the information of the course and group he belongs to, directly or through the tutor, if not get through an incident report form.
